I got alot on my plate......

Currently I work for Department of Defense as a Contract Specialist. I love my job and it pays for my school. As soon as I graduate I plan on investing in houses and pursuing my art more.

Since age ten Erik has been drawing and producing various ocean and desert landscape. To date, he has completed 32 painting and 4 murals.

  • 4’X12’ panoramic mural of the historical territory prison and castle dome mountain.   
  • 20’ X 45’ mural at Carver Park showing the four corners of Arizona.
  • 10’ X 45’ mural at Carver Park showing California sand dunes over a sunset.

At 18 years old he competed in a National Merit of Fine Arts. A grand total of 6,000 artists both Novelist and Master competed in this prestigious contest. Only the top 50 were awarded representing their state. Ranks were given to each artist in order to distinguish which would be selected among the top 50. Ranked high among the top 50 at a National level Erik was flown to Washington D.C Where he received a Merit Award from Congressman Ed pastor. Various other celebrities participated in recognition of this achievement. The painting produced by Erik Reta was hung in the Capital Building in Washington D.C. for three years and then in the Congressman’s office for 2 years.

Much fame was given to this young artist as he appeared on NBC the Morning show Artist of the month. His painting hung on the backdrop their news set.
